I became interested in the idea of representing the story of a movie using Magic the Gathering Cards. For my first subject, I chose one of my favorites, The Count of Monte Cristo (2004). Since I know it so well, I worked from memory, rather than reference.
As I puzzled it out it became clear to me that the film is arranged into four distinct acts. Here they are.
